These name tags include our special Epoxy coating and the color metal Border. The Epoxy coating is a clear, acrylic-like coating that is applied to the surface of the name tag. It provides a classy appearance, helps protect the surface from scratches and abrasions, and adds strength for extra durability.
A color Border is a larger piece of metal that is applied behind the piece of metal your name and logo is printed on. The Border can be used to accent your logo and it also adds strength for extra durability.
Please note: the Border will add 1/4" in overall size to your name tag. (Ex. If you order a 1 x 3" name tag, once we apply the border the overall size will be 1 1/4" x 3 1/4").
